PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 13, 2022) – U.S. Marines with Echo Company, Battalion Landing Team 2/4, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, board a CH-53E Super Stallion aboard amphibious transport dock USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), Aug. 13. The ability to operate seamlessly and simultaneously on the sea, ashore, and in the air represents the unique value of the amphibious capability provided by the Navy–Marine Corps team.
