U.S. Marines and U.S. Sailors conduct maintenance on the rotor assembly of an MV-22B Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, in the hangar bay aboard amphibious assault carrier USS Tripoli (LHA 7) Sept. 11, 2022. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of Amphibious Assault Ship USS Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
