Grant Bryan, commanding officer of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Barry (DDG 52), from Anchorage, Alaska, uses a stadimeter to measure the distance to Henry J. Kaiser-class oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204) during an underway replenishment while operating in the Philippine Sea, Sept. 13. Barry is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
