RIGA, Latvia (Sept. 17, 2022) U.S. Navy Cmdr. Aaron Arky, right, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Paul Ignatius (DDG 117), and U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Scott MacDonald, air boss of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 79, Detachment 2, highlight the capabilities of the MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter to Latvian military commanders and Defense Attachés from allied and partner nations during a tour of the ship in Riga, Latvia, Sept. 17, 2022. Paul Ignatius is part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, under the command and control of Task Force 61/2, on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
