The Army Contracting Command – Joint COVID Response Division (ACC-JCRD) was stood up in March 2021 to serve as the U.S. Government’s primary contracting unit in the fight against the COVID on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
The first of its kind, JCRD was comprised of contracting professionals from ACC-NJ, ACC-APG, ACC-RSA and ACC-DTA to rapidly acquire vaccines, therapeutics, and needles/syringes in support of the global fight against COVID.
The JCRD has obligated more than $38 billion towards COVID requirements as of September 19, 2022.
