KINGS BAY, Ga. (Sep. 22, 2022) The Ohio-class guided-missile submarine USS Georgia (SSGN 729) returns to its homeport at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia, after a 790-day forward-deployment. Ohio-class guided-missile submarines are capable of carrying up to 154 tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles. The base is home to all East Coast Ohio-Class submarines.
