DALA, Solomon Islands (Sept. 8, 2022) — Capt. Jeffrey Feinberg, commanding officer of Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19), left, Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Gianfranco Chavez, from Kissimmee, Florida, middle, and Lt. Elizabeth Jeffers, from Brazil, Indiana, teach proper hand washing techniques to students of Dala Primary School during a visit in support of Pacific Partnership 2022. Now in its 17th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Pacific Partnership is a unifying mission that fosters enduring friendships and cooperation among many nations.
