U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Michael Drake, a machine gunner with 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, participates in littoral maneuver training at Kin Red Harbor, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 22, 2022. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force Expeditionary Operations Training Group Amphibious Raids Branch designed a littoral maneuver training package for 1st Bn., 2nd Marines, to prepare for future operations in littoral environments. 1st Bn., 2nd Marines, is forward deployed to III MEF under the unit deployment program.
