    26th Marine Expeditionary Unit     

    U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Joshua Duran, battalion intelligence officer, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, briefs Marines and sailors during a rehearsal of concept (ROC) walk on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 19, 2022. The ROC walk was conducted in order to establish clear objectives and communication between all personnel and their respective units in preparation for Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation. The MCCRE is a part of V16’s pre-deployment training prior to their composite with 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit. V16 will be the Ground Combat Element of the 26th MEU.
