U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Brendyn Franklin, a Brandon, Florida, native and a light armored vehicle technician with 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division, poses for a photo on a LAV-25 on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 22, 2022.
“I do it for all the guys around me. We are 100% a family. There’s always things that nobody wants to do, but they have to get done. I don’t just tell my Marines to do something that I wouldn’t do. I’d be right there turning wrenches with them. That’s how my corporals did it,” says Franklin.
