An MH-60S Nighthawk, attached to the "Tridents" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 9, transports ammunition from Dry Cargo and Ammunition Ship USNS Medgarers (T-AKE-B) to the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) during an ammunition onload, Sept. 25, 2022. Ford is underway in the Atlantic Ocean conducting carrier qualifications and workups for a scheduled deployment this fall.
