An MH-60S Knighthawk, attached to the "Tridents" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 9 receives ammunition from dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Medgar Evans (T-AKE 13) to transport ammunition to the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) during an ammunition onload, Sept. 26, 2022. Ford is underway in Atlantic Ocean conducting carrier qualifications and workups for a scheduled deployment this fall.
