U.S. Marine Corps Col. Richard M. Martin, commanding officer of III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, presents a gift to Maj. Gen. Yoshiki Adachi, the Director General of C4 Systems & Intelligence Department of the Japan Ground Self Defense Force, during a meeting between III MIG and the JGSDF. The meeting was organized to showcase III MIG’s role in processing, exploitation, dissemination, targeting and how III MIG is tasked organized to conduct information warfare. III MIG functions as the vanguard of III MEF, operating in the Indo-Pacific regions information environment, and supports Marine Air Ground Task Force operations with communications, intelligence, and supporting arms liaison capabilities.
