U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Kyle Bagwell, 509th Civil Engineering Squadron Electrical Systems Craftsman, upgrades the lighting system on the runway at Whiteman Air Force Base, September 26, 2022. The airfield lighting system is required to be upgraded to allow for a new precision approach path indicator (PAPI) system to be set up. The lights are a part of a project to improve the runway.
