The United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, known as the Thunderbirds, perform a phase maintenance inspection on an F-16 Fighting Falcon at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Sept. 15, 2022. After every 400 flight hours, the maintainers perform a deep inspection during which they remove the aircraft’s panels and visually inspect each part for damage.
