The Information Management team that got Composite Health Care System (CHCS), the backbone of the Department of Defense’s hospital information systems since the 1990’s, to the point where it can be retired now that MHS GENESIS is active. They gather around a cake at the end of a decommissioning ceremony for CHCS at Madigan on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., on Sept. 29.
