Coast Guard Cutter Marcus Hanna crew members join together for a sea service celebration awarding Petty Officer 2nd Class John Tucker his permanent cutterman pin, July 29, 2022. The permanent cutterman insignia represents the fulfillment of five years of cumulative sea time in the Coast Guard. As part of the ceremony, the insignia is placed inside the bell and each qualified cutterman pours sea water and rings the bell for the number of years they served at sea.
