Since its launch earlier this year, the U.S.-funded Visit Tunisia program has been hard at work to bring more international tourists to discover the interior regions of Tunisia and help Tunisia’s tourism sector flourish through public-private sector partherships! As part of Visit Tunisia, the United States, through USAID, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tunisian Federation of Travel and Tourism Agencies (FTAV) to develop and implement a training program to build the capacities of tourism associations. The program will provide virtual training to the selected associations in the fields of organizational development and governance, marketing and communications, and resource management to strengthen their organizations.
