NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (Oct. 02, 2022) Major General William Graham, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Headquarters deputy commanding general, and Lt. Col. Andrew Johannes, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District commander, met with local elected leaders at North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, and Pawleys Island Oct. 2 to survey damage left behind from Hurricane Ian. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is working with local, state, and federal partners to conduct post-storm surveys and preliminary damage assessments along the Grand Strand.
