U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Joseph Trotta, a motor transport operator, with Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, conducts an inventory during offload preparations on the United States Naval Ship Dahl (T-AKR 312) as a part of exercise Resolute Dragon 22 off the coast of Northern Japan, on Sept. 24, 2022. During maritime pre-positioning force offloads, offload preparation parties are tasked with the maintenance of the equipment to ensure all equipment is mission capable ahead of the offload. Resolute Dragon 22 is an annual exercise designed to strengthen the defensive capabilities of the U.S.-Japan alliance by exercising integrated command and control, targeting, combined arms, and maneuver across multiple domains.
