Crane Army Ammunition Activity recently welcomed representatives from Indiana University’s Chemistry Department during a tour of CAAA’s demilitarization division. Participants were able to visit Crane Army’s demolition range, chemistry lab, white phosphorus plant and a facility where outdated rock-eye bombs are demilitarized. The group was able to discuss the ways in which different types of chemistry work in the demilitarization process. Crane Army values its relationships with other entities such as the IU Chem Department.
