221003-M-VR919-1011 (October 3, 2022) U.S. Navy Sailors, both assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), detach chains from a UH-1Y Venom AH-1Z Viper helicopter attached to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369 (HMLA-369), 3d Marine Aircraft Wing, during San Francisco Fleet Week (SFFW) 2022. SFFW is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America’s sea services. During fleet week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of the city and its surrounding areas.
