A team of volunteers from the Honduras Ciudad Mujer program pose for a photo Sept. 21, 2022, at a Joint Task Force-Bravo led medical readiness training exercise in Choluteca, Honduras. Ciudad Mujer provided volunteers from pediatrics, dentistry, women’s health, and microbiology, partnering with the JTF-Bravo team out of Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, treating more than 1,000 patients in three days, at three different locations in the department of Choluteca. Ciudad Mujer contributes to women, peace and security in the region by empowering women in the medical field to work together to serve the community and providing care to women in need.
