NORFOLK, Va. (Oct. 9, 2022) – Line-handlers secure a mooring-line to the pier rendering the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) moored in Naval Station Norfolk, Oct. 9. Porter returned to Naval Station Norfolk after completing seven years of service and 11 patrols at Naval Station Rota, Spain as a Forward Deployed Naval Forces-Europe (FDNF-E) destroyer.
