Senior Airman K. Smith, a force protection escort assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, judges which squadron deserves the 380th Spirit Award, during a quarterly awards ceremony at the Phantom Pavilion, October 4, 2022 at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. Although not a formal award and one which can be commandeered by other squadrons throughout the quarter, the 380th AEW Spirit award — a metal sword and shield decorated with the 380th’s crest — was awarded to the EFSS for their intensity of morale and vigor during the quarterly awards celebration.
