JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 9, 2022) - Cmdr. Chad Thoemke, a physician assistant at Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s Orthopedic Surgery department, performs an ultrasound during an exam. Thoemke holds a Master of Physician Assistant degree from the University of Nebraska. A native of Orange Park, Florida, Thoemke says, “I love taking care of our warfighters and their families.” Physician Assistant Week, which celebrates and increases awareness of the PA profession, is recognized every year from October 6-12.
