Jon Tamanah, team leader assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) and Mr. Anthony Hewitt, geographer build rapport with locals in the East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea on Sep. 14, 2022. The investigation team visited multiple areas across the mountainous East Sepik Province in hopes of recovering missing U.S. service members lost during World War II.
