(October 11, 2022) – A security patrol boat assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) EIGHT conducts routine operations near the mouth of the Thames River in Groton, Conn., Oct. 11. MSRON’s primary mission is to provide force protection of strategic shipping and naval vessels operating in the inshore and coastal areas, anchorages and harbors from bare beach to sophisticated port facilities.
