U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Park Ranger provides casting instruction to Meramec Valley student during the “Every Kid Outdoors, Paddle Your Parks” event at the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary. Over 200 students tried out fishing along the banks of Ellis Bay on the Mississippi River during the event held on October 6, 2022. The staff at Riverlands is hoping to help mold lifelong national park stewards, through the Every Kid Outdoors program that helps students, teachers, and families feel safe and supported as they explore national parks and public lands.
