ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Oct. 13, 2022) -- Stanford Gibson (center), Cameron Ackerman (second from right) and Alex Sanchez (far right), senior hydraulic engineers from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer - Institute for Water Resources, Hydrologic Engineering Center delivered training in Roorkee, India from Sept. 26-29 on their modeling and simulation software, known as HEC-RAS (River Analysis System). Funded by the U.S. State Department and in coordination with the Pacific Ocean Division, IWR leads trained 30 delegates from the National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), on the integrated hydraulic methods and geospatial capabilities within HEC-RAS, and its ability to handle complex modeling.
