The crews of Coast Guard Cutter Stratton (WMSL 752) and Canadian coast guard ship Sir Wilfrid Laurier conducted a search and rescue exercise near Point Hope, Alaska, Oct. 12, 2022. During the exercise, Stratton's crew deployed a small, unmanned craft and simulated a distress call. Sir Wilfrid Laurier's small boat then located, recovered and returned the distressed vessel to Stratton's crew. U.S. Coast Guard photo courtesy Coast Guard Cutter Stratton.
