U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 2d Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and members of the Philippine Air Force share a traditional Boodle Fight meal after a live-fire sniper range during KAMANDAG 6 at Colonel Ernesto Rabina Air Base, Tarlac, Philippines, Oct. 2, 2022. A boodle fight is the military version of a traditional Filipino Kamayan Feast, in which friends and family share a meal piled over a banana leaf lined table. KAMANDAG is an annual bilateral exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military designed to strengthen interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
