During the 38th Sustainment Brigade’s Transfer of Authority ceremony, Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, Col. Deedra Thombleson, commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. Karolyn Peeler, command sergeant major, unrolls the brigade flag after uncasing. The uncasing of the flag represents that the brigade is taking over for the 113th Sustainment Brigade to continue the logistical mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
