Cpl. Jason Salo, a communications maintenance chief and Durango, Colo., native with Headquarters and Support Battery, 3rd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion, carries two heavy ammo cans a total of 350 yards during the ammo resupply portion of the Combat Fitness Test conducted at Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, Jan. 14. The CFT was included in the Battle of the Squads, a competition pitting 19 squads from 3rd LAAD against each other. The winning squad received a four-day vacation from work.
