Cpt. Kevin Krupp, commander, Alpha Battery, 5th Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery, speaks on the capabilities of the maneuver short-range air defense system to Soldiers assigned to the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade in hangar two on Katterbach Army Airfield, Germany, Oct. 13, 2022. Krupp is the commander of the first MSHORAD systems fielded by the U.S. Army. 12 CAB and 5-4 ADA are located on Katterbach Army Airfield. The 12th Combat Aviation Brigade is among other units assigned to V Corps, America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe. They work alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retain command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European Theater.
