Crane Army hosted a team from The Attack International Branch of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center to execute a Mobile Cryptographic Installation Capability. This team ensured 500 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) Guidance Kits from the Special Defense Acquisition Fund stockpile were correctly coded and ready to ship to two partner nations.
In partnership with CAAA, USAF Global Ammunition Control Point and USAF GPS Program Office, the team ensured the weapons systems were delivered faster than the standard production timeframe. MCIC directly contributes to building partner nations' air force operational capacity by providing rapid weapons procurement. | Photo by Christy Carroll, Crane Army Ammunition Activity Public Affairs Office
