During your next visit to Lyster Army Health Clinic, you might notice a new display near the entrance dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. Warrant officer candidates of 1st WOC’s Pink Class 22-501 “Pink Valkyries” created the sign to pay to tribute to families and friends whose lives have been impacted by cancer. Throughout October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, patients and visitors will now to be able to see the sign near the front of the Lyster Army Health Clinic. The WOC’s relocated the sign to Lyster on October 19 as an initiative to further broaden awareness and provide a visual reminder to talk about breast cancer. Members of Lyster’s Public Health team, Population Health, Command, and WOC TAC Officers joined the sign unveiling at Lyster.
