U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Dane S. Tran, a tropospheric scatter transmission system operator with Deployable Joint Command and Control Platoon, 7th Communication Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, installs cables at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 19, 2022. DJC2 Platoon practiced the installation, configuration, capabilities, and troubleshooting procedures of their equipment. III MIG functions as the vanguard of III MEF, operating in the Indo-Pacific regions information environment, and supports Marine Air Ground Task Force operations with communications, intelligence, and supporting arms liaison capabilities.
