General Dynamics Land Systems trainers received certificates of achievement for their help training 5th Battalion, 4th Artillery Regiment mechanics, in Ansbach, Germany on October 6, 2022. GDLS facilitated four weeks of Maneuver Short Range Air Defense, Field Level Maintenance New Equipment Training for 5-4ADA. The FLMNET common hull training provided maintainers with fundamental knowledge of theory of operation, common maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting procedures for the M-SHORAD. The hands-on training received from the GDLS team will guarantee an increased readiness of mission essential pacing equipment and improve the overall readiness of 5-4 ADA.
