Representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Japan Engineer District (USACE JED) attended the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) forum, held in Tokyo, Japan, October 19, 2022. It was the first time in over three years that the SAME forum had been held at the Roppongi-based hotel and hosted over 400 attendees. Founded in 1920, the Society unites public and private sector individuals and organizations from across the architecture, engineering, construction, environmental and facility management, cyber security, project planning, contracting and acquisition, and related disciplines in support of national security.
