SOUTH CHINA SEA (Oct. 11, 2022) Chief Boatswain’s Mate Tyler Cole, from Fort Collins, Colorado, provides verbal guidance on different fuel pump hoses to Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Gracie Kuhns, from Pocola, Oklahoma, aboard Arleigh Burk-class guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) during a replenishment-at-sea with the Royal New Zealand Navy auxillary replenishment oiler HMNZS Aotearoa (A11) while operating in the South China Sea, Oct. 11. Milius is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
