U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Levi Dube, a platoon sergeant with 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, flattens the land for artillery position during Exercise Rolling Thunder at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, Oct. 21, 2022.
“I’m doing the same thing my father did 20-plus years ago in the same unit as he did it with,” explained Dube. “We have both served as a heavy equipment operator in the 10th Marine Regiment, which is pretty special to me.”
This exercise is a 10th Marines-led live fire artillery event that tested the unit’s abilities to operate in a simulated littoral environment against a peer threat in a dynamic and multi-domain scenario. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Michael Virtue)
