A French Desert Commando Course (FDCC) instructor takes down a U.S. Army Soldier assigned to Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa during a combatives training session at Centre Dentrainment Au Combat (CECAD), Djibouti, Sept. 20, 2022, while participating in the FDCC. The FDCC is a multi-day course held by the French at CECAD that challenges both U.S. and French service members by challenging the participants physically and mentally through land and water obstacles and endurance exercises while surviving in austere field conditions.
