KEY WEST, Fla. – (Oct. 21, 2022) – Michael Confessore, an augmented reality lead for Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, demonstrates the Augmented Reality Remote Maintenance Support Service (ARRMSS) to military and civilian personnel at the Navy’s Fleet Experimentation Program (FLEX), held at Naval Station Key West, Fla., Oct. 21, 2022. ARRMSS is a portable augmented reality headset and application system that enables fleet maintainers to troubleshoot maintenance and repair issues in real-time with distant engineers as if they were in the same room. FLEX aims to test various unmanned aerial and surface systems in order to strengthen and increase warfighter capabilities.
