Commander Michael Felber, commanding officer, HT-28, presents Captain Oslund, USN Ret. with a plaque and squadron mug during the winging ceremony on Oct. 21. Oslund was in the first group of six women to pave the way for the integration of Women into Naval aviation. In her speech to the newly winged aviators, she stated, “The six of us became signals and instigators of change” and urged the newly winged aviators to build a more complete and dynamic blueprint for how to manage change in their own careers.
