U.S Air Force Airman 1st Class Olamide Urune, 31st Force Support Squadron food service apprentice, receives a coin from Gen. James Hecker, U.S Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa commander, at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Oct. 6, 2022. Urune teamed with twelve personnel in offering 18,000 meals, generating $65,000 revenue to serve 2,000 joint forces. She was also selected to head the dining facility’s quarterly birthday meal, during which she designed and prepared a special cultural meal outside of normal DFAC recipes.
