U.S. Marines with 2nd Marine Logistics Group work together to pull Staff Sgt. Austin Vandervelde, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician, with EOD Company 2, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, over a barrier while participating in the Leadership Response Course on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 26, 2022. All the obstacles in the LRC required a great amount of teamwork and initiative, building the Marines’ leadership skills and confidence in each other’s leadership capabilities.
