U.S. Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Alberto Vega, Information Technology Specialist, 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, renders a salute during the playing of the National Anthem at the Chicago Blackhawks home game versus the Florida Panthers, October 25, 2022. Vega attended the game as part of a Hispanic Heritage Night event honoring Hispanic heritage and the service of Hispanic American service members. Vega was honored there with retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Frank Gutierrez. Vega has served on two deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve across his 10-year career.
