PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. (Sept. 30, 2022) The Honorable Carlos Del Toro, Secretary of the Navy, greets members of U.S. Space Command during a visit to USSPACECOM headquarters. While at USSPACECOM, Del Toro received briefs on threats to the space domain and updates on USSPACECOM’s operational plan. In today’s environment of strategic competition, space operations and the space domain are vital to U.S. Navy operations, providing maritime communications, intelligence, and a variety of tactical capabilities.
