Military and civilian students attend the CFE-DM Humanitarian Assistance Response Training in Conflict Oct. 21, 2022. The purpose of the 5-day training course is to prepare the US joint force and their security partners for supporting, and when necessary, conducting humanitarian assistance before, during, and after combat operations. The Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance provides academic research, civil-military coordination training, and operational insights to support decision making before, during, and after crises.
